1. President Report
- Jason welcomed everyone
- Been a quiet month
- 1st beginner event of the season went well, was a different thing for us but we are honing our skills
2. Treasurer’s Report
- Currently $2651 total funds
- $140.97 – joinit Fee
- $285.98 – new memberships
- Com bank is finally set up – issue with Bendigo bank was because we removed previous members so Chris needed to go into a branch because he requires two signatures and he is the only member on their end due to a clerical error at bank end
3. ATA Agreement with ATAI and Temporary Memberships
- ATA put forward the agreement on costs for new members
- Continuation of the current agreement and their filming operation which allows ATA access to all club events for filming opportunities with the club members or the club as a whole to decline footage to be published.
- $35 will be paid per membership to the club paid to ATA only if membership is converted to a full membership as per referral agreement
- All interactions we have with any businesses will be a corporate membership
- Temporary Membership Policy
- Current proposal for Temporary Membership cost is $60 and will act as a discount for full membership if they wish to change to full
- 4 consecutive days or 3 separate visits for events that are over multiple days
- Cannot use the days for different events – Sara to add this to the policy
- 28 Days for Trial period
- Andrew asked if we should be talking in terms of events rather than a time frame, but Jason confirmed that for club purposes it must be put into a time frame
- The club holds right of refusal of temporary memberships
- If trial members convert to full membership their full membership will be active from when they joined as a trial membership and they will get a refund of their trial membership cost.
- Voted passed to have a committee meeting on 20 October 2025 to ensure policy is correct and to make this live.
4. BYD Shark Event
- This is scheduled for Saturday
- Steve asked if he could bomb the shark day
- Steve asked if the Saturday event should be shared on the main page so that people can mingle, Chris said that he didn’t want to overrun the event, but wanted to get the event finalised before doing so.
